His performance was loved by many, which led him to prominence. Later, Egerton played various biographical roles, including those of artist Elton John in the musical Rocketman, military commander Edward Brittain in the drama Testament of Youth, and the titular ski-jumper in the sports film Eddie the Eagle.
For his performance in Rocketman, he won a Golden Globe award for best actor and was nominated for several awards, including one BAFTA Film Award. Most recently, the actor portrayed the role of James Keene in the Apple TV+ miniseries titled Black Bird.
Taron Egerton’s earnings and net worth explored
The Birkenhead native actor has been a part of the entertainment industry for a long time and has done well to establish himself as one of Hollywood’s most well-known performers. And thanks to his talent, he has accumulated a healthy net worth of $6 million.
If reports are to be believed, his net worth in 2013 was around $800,000, which finally rose to $1 million in the following year. As he got cast in multiple movies and his work demands increased, his earnings also started to grow.
Egerton has worked hard for several hours to harness his acting skills to attain his current net worth. He made his acting debut in 2012 by playing the role of Daniel in the movie The Last of the Haussmans. In the same year, he appeared as Andy in the short film Pop.
The following year, he made his TV debut by appearing as Liam Jay in Inspector Lewis. His struggle in the entertainment industry continued for a while as he only got minor roles in movies like Hereafter and Cash Cow.
Taron Egerton’s acting career explored
2014 was a big year in Egerton’s acting career as there were several firsts like his first lead role as Dennis ‘Asbo’ Severs in the TV show The Smoke and as Edward Brittain in the feature film Testament of Youth.
However, none of them became as fruitful for him as Kingsman: The Secret Service, which became the young Egerton’s first big Hollywood break. Due to the film’s success, he gained notoriety and even agreed to a three-movie deal with 20th Century Fox.

From 2015 to 2020, he worked in movies and TV shows like Legend, Eddie the Eagle, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Billionaire Boys Club, Robin Hood, Watership Down, Rocketman, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and Moominvalley. His last project of 2020 was the podcast series The Sandman, in which he voiced John Constantine.
Similarly, his acting gigs from 2021 to 2022 include Sing 2, Come Home, Glimpse, For Gunter’s Eyes Only, and Black Bird. The Apple TV+ miniseries Black Bird is based on Jimmy Keene’s biography In with the Devil, and Egerton served as the show’s executive producer.
As of this writing, the 32-year-old actor has two upcoming films; Tetris and Carry On. Tetris is a biographical picture in which Egerton will play the role of Henk Rogers. On the other hand, no details about his role in Carry On are revealed. Furthermore, it’s reported that Egerton will return as Eggsy in the fourth Kingsman film — the third one was a prequel in which Egerton didn’t appear.
