American actor Evan Thomas Peters, aka Evan Peters, is best known for his roles as Detective Colin Zabel in the HBO drama series Mare of Easttown, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2021, and in the FX anthology series American Horror Story.
Similarly, he has played the role of Stan Bowes in the first season of the FX ballroom drama series Pose, Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver in the X-Men film series and Pietro Maximoff / Ralph Bohner in Marvel‘s Disney+ show WandaVision.
Peters has a history of playing frightening characters in horror and thriller films. His portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer in Netflix’s real story turned series, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, received widespread acclaim.

Throughout his career, Peters has played multiple LGBTQ characters. His latest portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer in the Netflix crime series Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story was also a gay character.
His portrayal of such characters has sparked speculation regarding his sexual orientation. There have been rumors on the internet that the actor is gay. However, many media outlets have mentioned that he is not gay in real life.
Having said that, the actor fully supports the LGBTQ community stating that playing an LGBTQ character taught him more about the world and the problems of the LGBTQ community.
He described the people as humble and stated that they face many challenges on this planet. In an interview with GQ, he expressed his thoughts by sharing, “It’s been a massive learning experience, and I’ve grown a lot. I’ve learned a lot from the trans community.”

Peters was linked to British model Pixie Geldof in 2010 when they were both pictured holding hands and kissing at Coachella. He also dated Alexia Quinn, his co-star in Living At Home, in 2011, and Alexandra Breckenridge, his co-star in American Horror Story, in the same year.
Later, Peters met Emma Roberts on the set of Adult World in 2012 and fell in love. According to sources, the actor and Roberts had a heated argument and physical fight in 2013 in Canada when neighbors called the police.
They were seen hitting each other, and the police arrested Roberts as Peters was seen with many wounds. But he decided not to press charges against Roberts and moved on. She was released after a few hours of the arrest.
“It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding,” their representative told Us Weekly. They ultimately engaged in 2014. But decided to call it to quit in 2019.
He subsequently met Halsey, whom he dated until their relationship ended in 2020. Peters has not been linked to anybody since his separation from Halsey in 2020, and it appears he is enjoying his time alone.
