Australian actress and singer Clare Bowen is best known for portraying Scarlett O’Connor in the ABC/CMT musical drama Nashville.
Bowen has been interested in music since she was a child and used to spend more time with animals than with people. Bowen later decided to pursue a career as a singer and actress.
Throughout her career, she has performed duets with artists such as Zac Brown Band and Vince Gill and recorded with producers such as T-Bone Burnett and Buddy Miller.
The actress made her film debut in 2009 as the female lead in the Australian drama film The Combination and has appeared as a guest star in The Cut, Gangs of Oz, and many more.
Likewise, in 2012, Bowen landed a regular role on the ABC drama Nashville, written by Academy Award winner Callie Khouri.
Bowen is both an artist and an activist. In 2015, she cut her waist-length hair in solidarity with her brother, singer/songwriter, and The Voice Australia finalist Timothy James Bowen, diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Clare Bowen is married to musician Brandon Robert Young
Brandon Robert Young proposed to Bowen in 2015 following her performance on the Grand Ole Opry. However, the couple postponed their wedding plans due to her brother’s cancer diagnosis that same year.

Similarly, the actress shared a photo of herself hugging her father at the airport, admitting that she never imagined marrying until she met her now-husband.
She also uploaded a picture of a stunning sunrise on the morning of the wedding and captioned it, “Watching the sunrise. Wearing the blanket I was wrapped in when I was born around my shoulders. Gonna go marry my soulmate now.”
Clare Bowen and Brandon Robert Young are a power couple
Bowen and her husband have worked together on several songs. They released Dangerous Love, followed by Skeletons in September.
According to the couple, the song was written two days after a terrifying home invasion shocked them. Following the massive success of Dangerous Love, the couple thanked their fans for their support.
They wrote, “Thank you for all your lovely support and kind words about our new song, Dangerous Love. Now available wherever you listen to music.”
Likewise, the couple has also worked together on the two new songs, Helpless and Darling Oh Darling. The two have been touring, writing, and performing in recent years.
