Milan Lucic is a Canadian professional Ice Hockey player who plays for the National Hockey League’s Calgary Flames.
Lucic began his career in the British Columbia Hockey League with the Coquitlam Express from 2004 to 2005. Later, in 2007, he was a member of the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants (WHL). He also captained the Canadian national junior team in the 2007 Super Series.
Later, he played for the Boston Bruins for the first eight seasons of his National Hockey League career before being traded to the Los Angeles Kings in June 2015. After one season in Los Angeles, Lucic signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers in July 2016, where he spent three seasons before being traded to Calgary in July 2019.

Ice hockey player and his now-wife Brittany Carnegie dated a few years before getting married. In the midst of their relationship, they had a heated, alcohol-fueled argument in their North End neighborhood, but they sorted things out privately.
Later, Carnegie revealed their engagement in 2012 via Twitter and married on July 19, 2012. As of now, the couple has been together for over a decade.
In 2022, they celebrated their tenth anniversary. In honor of their anniversary, Lucic also shared a throwback photo of their wedding on Instagram.

The couple has three children: Valentina Lucic, Nikolina Lucic, and Milan Lucic Jr. The ice hockey player appears to have a close relationship with his family and enjoys spending time with them.
He shared a photo of himself in a boat with his wife and three kids on September 6, 2020. He captioned the photo, “Great time with the family at lake Louise!”

Lucic was born to his parents, Snezana Kesa and Dobrivoje Lucic. His father was a longshoreman in Vancouver who immigrated to North America from Serbia when he was 27. Likewise, his mother moved to Vancouver from Serbia when he was two.
The ice hockey player was raised along with his older brother, Jovan Lucic, and younger brother Nikola Lucic. Growing up, he attended Killarney Secondary School in Vancouver.
He has had a passion for hockey since he was a child. However, at age 15, Lucic was diagnosed with Scheuermann’s disease, a condition that causes the upper back to curve and results in a hunched-over posture.
